Digsby (Windows)

Digsby is a multiprotocol IM client. It is developed by dotSyntax, LLC.With the help of this you can chat with your friends either on AIM, MSN, Yahoo, ICQ, Google Talk, or Jabber by just managing the buddy list. Its also act as an email notification tool because it keeps record of new email and alert you about email from that, also you can use other options like ‘Delete’ or ‘Report Spam’ . It supports email from MySpace, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. It also act as a social networking tool. It is attracting the users by setting their minds to IM + Email + Social Networking = Digsby which indicated all things are available at one place and that is Digsby. Currently its version is available for windows but for linux and Mac, the versions are in the process of development.

Pidgin (Windows / Linux)

Pidgin is a multi-platform instant messaging client. It is an open source, easy to use and free chat client. Trillian (Windows)

Trillian is an instant messaging application for Windows. It is developed by Cerulean Studios. It was at first commercially released on September 10, 2002.It supports many multiple IM services like AIM, ICQ, Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, IRC, Novell GroupWise Messenger, Bonjour, XMPP, and Skipper networks. It needs some development in order to compete with other messengers. However, the beta-release of Trillian Astra is available to use.
